Our aim is to help regional Australia SHINE! Since 2018, Awards Absolute has committed to consciously and directly aiding in the growth and development of regional Australia. We have pledged to help activate regional Australia (ARA) by scheduling a new road trip program each year that sees us visit dozens of local government areas across regional and remote Australia.
Droughts, fires and floods - and now COVID-18 - continue to overshadow amazing achievements throughout regional Australia. Let us help your communities be brave enough and bold enough to tell their stories, highlighting the continuous never ending improvements being made. Give them the skills to show the rest of Australia that strength and courage really do help overcome adversity and showcase great role models.
While our schedule was restricted to QLD in 2020 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, Awards Absolute is hoping 2021 will reveal interstate travel as a more practical option. As promised, our Directors are back on the road now (as of April 2021) to continue supporting regional Australia while contributing to tourism and economic recovery.
In addition we continue to offer all services online via virtual meetings, webinar workshops, awards software and remote management. As a company with a national focus, we have been working remotely with clients for more than 20 years and guarantee you will benefit from our expertise even though we can not meet face-to-face currently.
Our current proposed schedule for 2021 is:
April - QLD North Burnett, Northern NSW
May - NSW
June - SA
July - SA / VIC
October- NSW / QLD
(Reach out today to discuss how we can help you or your region!).
Accessing our services is extremely cost effective with our special subsidized ARA rate of 50% off all Submission Writing Workshops and Awards Program Reviews undertaken while in region at the scheduled times. There is also no additional costs relating to travel and accommodation expenses. Contact us to discuss.
In addition to the standard services, we are also offering educational workshops relating to two tourism award programs with specific relevance to regional Australia. The Grey Nomad Awards and the Australian Street Art Awards. These workshops can be held in a provided venue at a scheduled destination free of charge for up to 30 participants. Each of the 2 hour workshops will help participants understand the benefits associated with entering each of these niche tourism award programs together with tips on what the judges are looking for. Valuable insights into the Australian mature-age tourism market will also be shared with participants.
By spending time in regional communities and amongst overland travellers we also gain valuable insights into the ingenuity of the peoples of regional Australia and continue to develop stronger data relating to some of the key market segments driving regional tourism. Together these enable us to discover interesting case studies that are shared at the Art of Attraction Tourism Summit to help increase resilience in tourism across Australia even further. The next conference is being planned for March 2022 and we hope to see you there!
