Before changing career direction towards marketing and events, Liz Rivers was an A-grade journalist who brought the amazing world of science into sharp focus. Her stories educated the masses on topics such as species mutation, extinction theory, human bioethics, pandemic prevention and intergalactic travel.
She held senior media management positions in Government and the private sector before establishing her own company in 1994. In 1997 Liz was asked to establish an inaugural staff awards program for a client. Awards Absolute Pty Ltd grew from that request. It remains the only company in Australia that specialises in both awards and rewards services.
